A hidden gem. I recently stayed at a charming lodge nestled in a beautiful location close to a stunning beach. The ambiance at the lodge was incredibly serene, and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the meals served at the lodge's restaurant, which exceeded my expectations. One of the highlights of my stay was the helpful advice provided by the manager, Bronwan, who went above and beyond to ensure that I had a memorable experience. I had a wonderful time at this oasis of tranquility and would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a peaceful getaway.

The location of this lodge is absolutely incredible! Our room had a spacious layout and a jaw-dropping view of the beautiful pond. The private terrace was a super bonus! The staff at this lodge went above and beyond to make our stay mind-blowing. The manager, Bronwan, was so helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. The chef, Randall, and assistant chef, Elsabe, provided us with a meal that was out of this world and the service was top-notch. The lodge grounds, including the pool and pond, were stunning. Our room was not only spacious and beautifully designed, but it also opened onto a deck area overlooking the pond. The addition of an honesty bar in the room was a nice touch. We were thoroughly impressed by the catering, which was superb. The lodge is located in a tranquil and gorgeous setting, close to nature and the beach. The staff were friendly, polite, and always willing to help. They even made my brother feel special on his birthday! The dinner and breakfasts were amazing, and we were pleasantly surprised by the delicious carpaccio and salad plates upon arrival. The hosts were also knowledgeable and provided great suggestions for things to do. The relaxed ambiance throughout the lodge was truly a wow-factor. We will definitely be returning for a longer stay when the sun shines!

We stayed at Lily Pond for 2 nights while exploring the Garden Route. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the intimate restaurant provided a delicious dinner experience. They even washed our car and dried our clothes for free! The hotel went above and beyond, preparing our room for the night and offering a small night snack. The staff also personalized our stay, asking about our plans and offering helpful advice on hidden hikes. Truly the best experience in South Africa!
Can't recommend highly enough this hotel.

Nestled in a beautiful natural setting, this budget lodge offers guests spacious and well-designed rooms with attention to detail. the open bathroom concept, although unconventional, was not an issue for us. the staff is friendly and goes above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. the on-site restaurant serves delicious food, and the atmosphere is delightful. We enjoyed waking up to the sight of monkeys running around the area.
The prices may be a bit high compared to other budget accommodations nearby.
